Camp Overview

The Summer Combined Training Camp (SCTC) offers athletes the opportunity to train at an elite level, regardless of eligibility for the 2026 USA Climbing Youth National Championships.

Led by our experienced Elite-level coaching staff, SCTC delivers the same high-caliber training found in our WBTC, WSSTC, and PNTC programs.

Designed for U11–U19 athletes, this camp is ideal for climbers looking to elevate their performance and gain a strong head start on the 2026–27 competitive season. Athletes ages 7 years and younger please email for registration consideration.

SCTC is a combined-format camp, focusing on all three competitive disciplines:

  • Bouldering

  • Lead / Top Rope

  • Speed

Athletes will select their preferred discipline(s) for focused training prior to camp, ensuring a personalized and impactful experience.

Camp Options & Pricing

  • Full Camp

    • Dates: June 6–16

    • Cost: $1,400 per athlete

    • Includes all training blocks

  • Week 1

    • Dates: June 6–10

    • Cost: $800 per athlete

    • Includes two training blocks

  • Week 2

    • Dates: June 12–16

    • Cost: $800 per athlete

    • Includes two training blocks

Travel, food, and accommodations are not included.

Camp Schedule

Arrival & Departure

  • June 5: Out-of-town Full Camp and Week 1 athletes arrive

  • June 10: Week 1 athletes depart after 6:00 PM

  • June 11: Week 2 athletes arrive

  • June 16: All athletes depart after 6:00 PM

  • 9:00–9:30 AM
    Camp welcome & introduction (June 6)
    Welcome for new attendees (June 12)

  • 9:30–10:30 AM
    Daily focus & warm-up (June 7–16, excluding welcome days)

  • 10:30 AM–1:00 PM
    Session 1

  • 11:45 AM–12:00 PM
    Snack break & rest

  • 1:00–2:30 PM
    Lunch & rest

  • 2:30–3:00 PM
    Warm-up & refocus

  • 3:00–5:00 PM
    Session 2 & daily debrief

Eligibility

  • Open to 40 U11–U19 athletes who regularly compete

  • Nationals eligibility is not required

Registration Details

  • Athletes indicate their preferred discipline
    (Bouldering, Lead/TR, Speed, or a combination) at the start of camp

  • Early Registration Bonus
    Register before April 15 to receive an exclusive SCTC t-shirt

  • A waitlist may be created once the camp is full

  • Waitlisted athletes may be offered last-minute openings

Refund & Attendance Policies

Standard Refund Policy

All refunds (full or partial) are conditional and issued only if the canceled spot is filled by an athlete from the waitlist, if one exists. If no waitlist exists, refunds will not be issued.

Timing of Cancellation & Refund Amount

  • 3+ months before camp
    Full refund

  • 1–3 months before camp
    50% refund

  • Less than 1 month before camp
    No refund

Refunds for Special Circumstances

  • Medical or family emergencies may qualify for a partial or full refund

  • Documentation is required

  • Requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of cancellation

No-Show Policy

  • Athletes who do not attend camp without prior notice are not eligible for a refund.

Spectating Policy

  • Family members are not permitted during training hours

  • Families may join athletes during lunch breaks only

  • Camp highlights and photos will be shared via our social media pages

No Phone Zone Policy

  • Phones, earbuds, headphones, and personal devices are not permitted during training sessions

  • Devices may only be used during snack and lunch breaks

  • Coaches may allow phone use as a training tool when appropriate

Code of Conduct & Safety

Athletes are expected to:

  • Follow all Team CRG Atlanta rules and policies

  • Treat athletes, coaches, and staff with respect

  • Remain focused during training

  • Prioritize safety at all times

Compliance with all gym and team safety requirements is mandatory, including:

  • Gym Waivers

  • Team Waiver

  • Speed Protocols

Team CRG Atlanta follows USA Climbing SafeSport Guidelines and MAAPP protocols.

Waitlist & Additional Information

If a waitlist is created, athletes may be offered last-minute openings.

Athletes on the PNTC waitlist may also register for SCTC without losing their PNTC waitlist spot.
